Thymosin Beta-4 is found in nearly every mammalian cell type — platelets, white blood cells, wound fluid. It is one of the most conserved actin-regulating proteins in nature. TB-500 is the synthetic form: all 43 amino acids, including the critical LKKTETQ motif at positions 17-23 that gives it high-affinity actin binding.
