The separation of function
Preclinical studies have documented that AOD-9604 does not interact with IGF-1 pathways or the growth hormone receptor in the way full-length hGH does. The fragment’s studied activity is confined to adipose tissue metabolism — lipolytic signaling cascades, fatty acid release, and oxidation rates in fat tissue models. Separately, research has also examined the fragment in chondrocyte proliferation and proteoglycan synthesis in cartilage models, which was an unexpected finding that broadened its experimental utility.
Research applications
- GH fragment structure-activity relationship studies
- Adipose tissue metabolism and lipid oxidation research
- Chondrocyte and proteoglycan synthesis studies
- Comparative analysis of hGH fragments vs full-length hormone
Frequently paired with
- Ipamorelin 5mg + CJC-1295 — Body composition research.
